Hey my Friends! I hope today finds you well! Having fun playing the new Stuff pack?

Well, the other day when I was in the process of creating my bicycle tables I made a mistake that gave me a cool idea! So I present to you the PhotoOp End table!!

I was placing my glass texture on my table top (or so I thought) but actually it was one of my Preview .Pngs. The result was a photo overlay on my table top that led me to create this new table. While it’s a bit hard to make out in the preview shots, the top is somewhat translucent and the result is kinda cool. I hope you like it as much as I do!

If you are familiar with the process of recoloring, it’s super-easy to put your own screenshots in with Sims 4 studio and your favorite 2D editor. But for those that need I did a quick little tutorial (See the bottom of this post). Otherwise, if you’d like, post a photo on photobucket or imgur and send me the link in an “ask” - I’d be glad to make a recolor for you! Make sure your screenshots are at least 800 pixels for best quality. Please be clear about which photo it is if there if more than one in your album! I make no promises, but I will do the best I can :)

I wanted to incorporate the sports prints with the table but they weren’t cooperating, so I decided to make a new picture with them because they are so cool! These are recolors so you need the mesh from @rachelssimstuff here.

Finally, I did a couple of solid recolors of Leo’s conversion of Mystic rain’s Earth Living seating. You must have the mesh. Get it here. Hope you enjoy it!

A quick blurb on how to put in your pictures:

****I’ll start out by saying I don’t have the gift of teaching (unfortunately), so this tiny tutorial assumes that you already know how to use S4S and a 2D editor. The Sims 4 studio website has loooooads of great tutorials that lead you through all of that stuff. I promise! Go check them out!

1. Edit the picture you want to place on the table top and save it as a .png or .jpg. Personally I think .png looks better, but I don’t know the technicalities. 
I have sharpened my screenshots 50% and used a canvas filter, but you could play around with whatever you want, I suppose.

2. Copy/paste your picture onto the .dds table top texture you extracted from Sims 4 studio. When you have it just how you want it (centered in the circle area of the image), save it as a .png file. Saving as .dds won’t look right (or at least doesn’t for me).

3. Import your .png table top image into S4S and you’re good to go!
